Tofield Municipal Library Internet Use
Free public internet use is available at the library, on three stations plus one other next to the online catalogues.
The Tofield Municipal Library is currently in the process of implementing a new internet policy. The policy is aimed at keeping our library users aware of what their rights, limits and privileges are when using the free internet service provided by the library.
Under Sixteen
For our users under the age of sixteen this means making sure that their parents are also aware of our policies. Therefore anyone under the age of sixteen will be required to have a permission form signed by their parent or guardian to use our internet services. They will then be issued an internet use card at no charge to them. If a person under the age of sixteen does not have their internet use card by January 2, 2005 they will not be allowed to use the library's computers to access the internet.
Over Sixteen
Internet users over the age of sixteen will be required to read a copy of the library's policy and sign a form that states that they have read and understood the policy regarding internet usage, in order to access internet services.
To see a copy of the Tofield Municipal Library's Internet Policy just head down to the library and the staff will be happy to help you and answer any questions you may have.
