Tofield Municipal Library Trustees 2010
The Tofield Library Board meets on the third Wednesday of each month, September through June, at 6:30 pm in the Library. Meetings are open to the public. The Board is a member of the Alberta Library Trustees Association.

Bob Young has been a Tofield area resident for 35 years. He is in his first term of office as a County Councillor, Division 1. Bob serves as a Board member of the East Central Alberta Community Futures. He is a Trustee on the Tofield and Area Health Services Foundation. His Councillor duties include Commissioner with the Beaver Hills Initiative, Beaver Foundation, and Family and Community Support Services. Volunteer activities include Director, Tofield Agriculture Society, Board member of the Tofield Community Response Committee. Bob is a 25 year member of the Tofield Lions Club, a member of the Chipman Car Crafters Car Club, a member of the Rural Crime Watch, and President of the Edmonton Train Collectors Association. Bob retired in 2002 after 36 years of service with the Alberta Forest Service. He is the parent of two adult children and grandfather to 6 grand-children. |
