Inspector Iwannaknow
Inspector Iwannano, Brian Lehr a magician put on a fun and entertaining Magic Show at the Tofield Municipal Library on July 15th.
Summer Reading Program.
This year’s theme for the summer reading program is Agent 009. Children ages 3-12 are invited to drop into the library throughout the summer to help solve the case of the missing dog. The program runs Tuesdays and Thursdays for ages 7-12 from 2-4pm and on Mondays and Wednesdays for ages 3-6 from 10-12am. The cost is $2.00 per child and there is no registration required. There is also a Saturday program where children can drop in any time during the day.
The magician, Brian Lehr was one of two special entertainers this year for the program at the Tofield Library.
The next presentation will be Tuesday July 28th @11am. Agent Nicole and her dog will be coming to talk to the public about the different jobs that dogs have such as police work or search and rescue. Agent Nicole will also be talking about dog safety and the benefits of owning a pet. This event is open to everyone so parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles are all invited. The presentation is free but we are asking for a $3.00 donation to their rescue group called PAWS that operates out of dogspaw in Edmonton. We will also be collecting any toys, blankets, dog or cat food and kitty litter to help their organization.
For more information on the program or the events please contact Carrie at the Tofield Library at 662-3838.
